About Institute: MVJ College of Engineering (Autonomous Institute)
The college holds AICTE-New Delhi approval, is associated with VTU-Belagavi, and has UGC recognition with 2(f) and 12(B) status. Since its humble origins, MVJCE has advanced significantly. It is currently regarded as one of Karnataka’s top engineering colleges. Its continuous evolution, which has kept up with shifting times and technological advancements, is the key to this accomplishment. Notably, the College received Autonomous Status for the 2019–20 academic year.
With a small enrollment of 200 students, the Institute began with undergraduate programs in four fields in 1982. Over the following academic years, the Institute received approval for additional programs, and in the ensuing 42 years, it has expanded significantly. We currently provide eight postgraduate programs, fifteen undergraduate programs, and a Ph.D.
