About Institute: Charotar University of Science and Technology
The Government of Gujarat has instituted Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT) in accordance with Gujarat Act No. 8 of 1995. University Grants Commission (UGC) authority to confer degrees on CHARUSAT is outlined in Section 22 of the UGC Act 1956. Prior to 2009, the location was referred to as Education Campus Changa. The University has been designated a “Centre of Excellence” by the Gujarat Government. NAAC granted CHARUSAT an A+ accreditation grade in 2022.
