Qualification And Experience:
Assistant Professor (Grade I & Grade II)
- Ph.D. with first class or equivalent in preceding degree. Specialization in appropriate area/branch. Good academic record.
- Good communication skills, commitment to high quality education.
- Demonstrated ability to carry out original and creative research.
- Grade-I applicants: candidates with at least three years of industrial/research/teaching experience.
- Grade II applicants: candidates with PhD but less than three years of industrial/research/teaching experience.
Associate Professor
- Ph.D. with first-class or equivalent in preceding degree.
- Specialization in appropriate area/branch with good academic record.
- Good communication skills, commitment to high-quality education.
- Demonstrated ability to carry out original and creative research.
- Minimum 6 years teaching/research/industrial experience, at least 3 years at Assistant Professor level in IITs or similar institutes.
Professor
- Ph.D. with first-class or equivalent in preceding degree.
- Specialization in appropriate area/branch with good academic record.
- Good communication skills, commitment to high-quality education.
- Demonstrated ability to carry out original and creative research.
- Minimum 10 years teaching/research/industrial experience, at least 4 years at Associate Professor level in IITs or similar institutes.
Assistant professor salary
- Assistant Professor Grade I -7th CPC Pay Level : 12 With Minimum pay of Rs. 1,01,500/-
- Assistant Professor Grade II- -7th CPC Pay Level: 10 With Minimum pay of Rs. 70,900/-
Associate professor/professor salary
- Associate professor: Academic Pay level 13A2 with minimum Pay of Rs. 1,39,600/-
- Professor: Academic Pay level 14A with minimum Pay of Rs. 1,59,100/-
