It was created in 2013 by converting the 1962-founded Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering College (MMMEC) into a university. Madan Mohan Malaviya, an Indian politician and co-founder of BHU, is honored by the name of the MMMUT. The university has granted its programs an autonomous status. Given that the university was founded more than 60 years ago, its alumni network is extremely strong. It provides Master degrees in Computer Application (MCA) and Business Administration (MBA), as well as Bachelor, Master, and Doctorate programs in engineering, natural sciences, and humanities.

- Application fee shall be Rs. 2500/- for General, OBC and EWS candidate and Rs. 1250/- for SC/ST&PwD Candidates. All the fees shall be payable online only.

Print out of the completed online application form submitted through the prescribed link with proof of prescribed fee deposition and all necessary enclosures/ documents should be sent to the Registrar, Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur – 273010 (U.P.) through Registered/ Speed Post only so that it reaches latest by 05.00 p.m. on 11/03/2024.
