| Stage I | Candidates shortlisted after the scrutiny of applications shall be asked to make an Academic/Research presentation before an expert committee. |
| Stage II | The candidates shortlisted from Stage I shall be called for a personal interview. However, eligible serving candidates of NIT Meghalaya shall have to attend only Stage II of the selection process. |
General Instructions:
- Only Indian nationals and OCIs need to apply.
- General/ OBC/ EWS Candidates are required to pay aNON-REFUNDABLE APPLICATION FEEof ₹ 1,000/- (Rupees One thousand only), SC/ST, PWD, Women candidates and serving faculty of NIT Meghalaya are completely exempted from paying the application fee. Candidates are advised to read details given in the“Check Payment Process”link carefully before making the payment.
- Relaxation of age for candidates under the Reserved Categories shall be as per Govt. of India norms.
- Candidates need to apply in online mode only and do not need to submit any hard copy. The screening will be conducted based on the online copy and therefore candidates are requested to fill in all the details carefully. Any claim after final submission of the online copy will not be considered.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending test / interview.
- Any corrigendum/addendum or modification, if any, would appear only on the Institute website (www.nitm.ac.in) and will not be published in any Newspaper.
