Pantnagar University, also known as G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, is the inaugural agricultural university in India. Jawahar Lal Nehru initiated it as the “Uttar Pradesh Agricultural University” (UPAU) on November 17, 1960. Later, in 1972, the name was altered to “Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology” in honour of Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant, the first Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, a statesman, and recipient of the Bharat Ratna. The University is situated in the district of Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand, and the campus-town of Pantnagar in Kichha Tehseel. The university is considered to be the forerunner of the Green Revolution in India.

  • Assistant Librarian: Academic Level 10 with rationalized entry pay of Rs. 57,700/-
  • Assistant Director, Physical Education: Academic Level 10 with rationalized entry pay of Rs. 57,700/-
