It is the second regional campus of Galgotias Educational Institutions, following Galgotias College at Pari Chowk in Greater Noida, and was founded in 2011 by Suneel Galgotia.
It was founded in 2011 and is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). In 2022, Galgotias University was accredited by the NAAC with an A+ rating. In the first cycle, it received an NAAC score of 3.37 out of 4. The UGC Act’s section 12(B) states that it is qualified to get central aid.

- Eligibility Criteria
- Assistant Professor:
- Post Graduate in relevant discipline with NET and/orPh.D as per U.G.C Norms.
- Associate Professor:
- Ph.D with 8 years experience in the relevant field.
- Professor:
- PhD with 10 years experience in the relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience.
- Full-time/ Part time/ Adjunct/Visiting Faculty:
- Professionals with experience in corporate/industry to teach application oriented subjects/coders working in the Industry willing to work as Adjunct/visiting faculty.
