Dedicated to honoring the memory of Shri Guru Ram Dass Ji, the fourth Sikh Guru, GRD Institutions of Higher Education was established in 1989. The primary goal of the institute’s founding was to provide students with a suitable education of high caliber and to prepare them to become future leaders for a brighter future. The Texla Group of Industries’ Chairman, Sardar Raja Singh Oberoi, is a well-known philanthropist. In order to enable and encourage the inauguration of the trust activities, he kindly gave 14 acres of the estate in Rajpur, Dehradun.
