Selection Procedure:
- The recruitment process may consist of: Written Test / Presentation / Interview. The Statutory Selection Committee reserves the right devise the criteria for recruitment based on the number of applications received, department specific positions available and as per the requirement of the Department / Institute.
- Based on the recommendations of the statutory selection committee and approval of the Board of Governors, appointment letters shall be issued.
- Institute reserves the right to cancel/restrict/enlarge/modify/alter the Recruitment Process, if need arises, without issuing any further notice or assigning any reason therefore.
- It is mandatory for the candidates to appear in person for Technical Presentation and Interview.
- Facility of Technical Presentation and Interview through video conferencing for candidates residing abroad is available at their own risk as Institute is not responsible for any technical issue related to internet connectivity resulting in failure to appear before the presentation/ selection committee.
How to Apply:
- The Application will be accepted in Prescribed format only.
- The Last date for submission of applications for all 3 Quarters is depicted in Table I and candidates are requested to adhere to the indicated timelines. Applications received after the specified deadline will not be considered for the current quarter but may be reviewed in the subsequent quarter as per the decision of the Screening / Selection Committee. However, applications received after the deadline of the last quarter (31st October 2024) will not be considered at all.
- The envelop carrying application, fee receipt and other relevant documents as mentioned in the advertisement shall be sent only by Speed Post/ Registered Post for applicants residing in India and by Courier for candidates applying from abroad to following address: The Director, Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhopal (IIIT Bhopal), Room No. T.C- 105, New Teaching Block, C/o MANIT Bhopal, Link Road No.-3, Near Kali Mata Mandir Bhopal – 462003 (M.P.)
- The envelope containing complete application should be super scribed as “Application for the post of Assistant Professor in the Department of _” without fail.
- Candidates shortlisted for written test / presentation / interview will be informed through email mentioned in the application form. Also, a list of shortlisted candidates for written test / presentation / interview will be displayed on the Institute’s website. Therefore, candidates are advised to mention their correct and active email address in the application form and are also advised to visit the Institute website regularly.
- Candidates belonging to Unreserved/EWS/OBC-NCL category have to pay application fee of ₹1500.00 (Rupees Fifteen Hundred Only) and Candidates belonging to SC / ST / PWD have to pay ₹750.00 (Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty Only) through SBI Collect which is non-refundable. For the Indian Nationals applying from abroad (PIOs / OCI Card-holders), an application fee of USD $60 is required to be paid.
