IIT Jodhpur commences acceptors of PhD applications for programs spanning multiple disciplines through its online portal in January 2024. The Institute’s application deadline is October 20, 2023. The IIT Jodhpur PhD programmers are selected through interviews and/or written examinations, according to the press release.
PhD program admissions are available in particular disciplines and interdisciplinary curriculum. The press release stated that the Institute presently has over 4500 students enrolled in a variety of IJC, PG, and PhD programs.

Eligibility:
Diverse doctoral programs at IIT Jodhpur are designed to cultivate the next generation of scholars who will be at the forefront of sustainable technology and inter-disciplinary inquiry. In order to qualify, the candidate must hold a master’s degree in one of the following fields: management, humanities, engineering, pharmacy, agricultural science, or science, with a minimum of 60% or 6.0/10 CPI or COPA for CEN/GEN-EWS/OBC (or 55% for SC/ST/PD).
Applicants to all PhD programs at IIT Jodhpur are B. Tech graduates from centrally-funded technical institutions (CFTI) who have achieved a CCPA of 8.0 or higher. In this regard, they are exempt from the requirement of taking the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (CATE). The individual assistantship

International Residents Abroad (INRA) as well as non-citizens. PhD candidates in good standing will qualify for Research Assistantships (RA) and Teaching Assistantships (TA) [financial assistance in accordance with Ministry of Education policy].
