Expectation: Professors of Practice will be expected to teach in different programs as per the norms of the Institute; to take part in academic administration and promoting industry-institute linkages through wide range of activities. These individuals would ideally provide students with a better understanding of the practical applications in a particular field.
Eligibility: Candidates should have at least 15 years of managerial or professional experience and should have worked in senior management position such as CEO / CTO / Vice President /Director or equivalent for at least 5 years. They should have at least a Master’s degree in Engineering / Sciences / Humanities or a related field. Ph.D. is desirable but not essential. However, a lack of Ph.D. must be offset by demonstrated domain knowledge, obtained from deep experience in the ‘field’.
Age: Preferably below 60 years.
