About Institute: Central University of Andhra Pradesh
The Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014, mandated the establishment of a central university in Andhra Pradesh. The university was approved in May 2018 with a sanction of ₹450 crore. The University of Hyderabad was selected to mentor the new university. The transit campus was inaugurated in August 2018, and the Central Universities (Amendment) Bill, 2019 was passed in July 2019.

Essential Qualification
- ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
Essential Qualification and Experience: PhD with first division in the preceding degree and having minimum of 08 years teaching / research experience of which at least 04 years post PhD experience should be at the level of Assistant Professor in reputed Institutions / Universities like IISc, IITs, NITs, IISERs, top NIRF ranked Private Institutes / Universities.
Desirable Qualification: Successful completion of Sponsored / Consultancy Projects, Research Publications in reputed journals, Research guidance of PhD students. Having experience of handling academic / administrative responsibilities at University level.
- Assistant Professor
Essential Qualification and Experience: M. Tech/MSc/PhD or equivalent with first division and throughout a good academic record. Candidates with teaching /research experience and / or PhD degree will be given preference and higher scales.
